There are so many things in our lives that follow rules only to break them.
Think about the English language.
I think anytime we have a rule we do our best to make sure we break it or have exceptions
For instance, “I before E except after C”
I like Brian Regan’s version.
“I” before “E” except after “C” and when sounding like “A” as in neighbor and weigh, and on weekends and holidays and all throughout May, and YOU’LL ALWAYS BE WRONG NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY!!!!”
